about

The entire album is loosely based on the concept of killing yourself but the inner parts of yourself. In this song the lyrical content pertains to wasting your life away and killing yourself slowly as a covert narcissist pretending to be a martyr and only hurting yourself in the long run. The mentality is what kills you.

lyrics

Minute after minute
Hour after hour
Day after day
Wasting away..
Wasting away..

Slave your life away
"You'll never be anything" This is what they want you to believe
They seek only to deceive..

There are no boundaries just do as you please
I'd rather kill you before you kill me..
Every motherfucker is an enemy.
Society and its malintent will decompose the last trace of humanity..

You're either dying or dead
Living in regret or dying in remorse
You're either dying or dead
Living in regret or dying in remorse.

You play your games and plant your seeds
You've done nothing but live life down on your knees.
Just wait and see.
This is our reprieve..

There are no boundaries just do as you please
I'd rather kill you before you kill me..
Every motherfucker is an enemy.
Society and its malintent will decompose the last trace of humanity..

You're either dying or dead
Living in regret or dying in remorse
You're either dying or dead
Living in regret or dying in remorse.

This Is Our
Reprieve

No one will know your name
Rotting in an unmarked grave
No one will know your name
Rotting in an unmarked grave

I simply cannot die
I cannot be stopped
I am the narcissist within your thoughts.
